Torunn bor og arbeider i Bergen. Hun jobber med akryl collage og akvarell i malerier, og er også opptatt av illustrasjon. Hun har skrevet og illustrert barneboken "Den lille sjøhesten". Boken handler om identitet og selvbilde, og om å føle seg annerledes.
Hun er opptatt av farger lys og gjennomskinnelighet i sine malerier. Torunn har malt på konferanser i Norge, Frankrike, England og Australia.
I mer enn 10 år har hun vært elev hos kunstner Gerd Frantzen på Bryggen i Bergen, og hun har også studert illustrasjon på School of illustration ved University of the Nations på Kona, Hawaii. Hun har hatt utstillinger på lokale kafeer/gallerier i Bergen og Bærum, og hennes malerier er blant annet innkjøpt av Haukeland universitetssjukehus.

She has written and illustrated a childrens' book called "The little seahorse". As an artist she has painted live at conferences in Norway, France, England and Australia.
